Pre-Primary Program (2 years – 3 years)

Babies playing with toys with adultsiBloom Montessori has carefully designed a curriculum for Pre-primary students, emphasizing specific skills that enhances your child natural learning process. Children of this group are curious to learn and the love for learning emerges unconsciously. Our aim for the pre-primary age group is to cater to each child’s individual needs. We emphasize self-help and consistent routine which will foster independence, confidence, and responsibility in your child. Well-planned, appropriate, Practical-Life activities are introduced to your child to enhance his development of fine motor control, sense of order, balance, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and independence.

Our curriculum emphasizes exploration and experimentation that aids the child to progress his ability to focus and refine sensory perceptions. Building their language skills is an important learning area of our curriculum. Children will be introduced to various language materials like books, picture cards and puzzles. Teachers introduce lessons on listening skills by reading aloud and telling stories to children to support your child’s interest in language.

There is no better time to toilet train your child than now. 18 months is the apt age to start the process. We encourage your child in the potty-training process where our teachers look for signs for toileting readiness and will motivate your child to use the potty at the right time.

In addition, teachers prepare individual lesson plans, make continues assessments and maintain portfolios of the child’s progress to track and ensure introduction to new concepts and keep the child challenged.
